Last month, we mentioned our employee recognition programs and as the year wraps up and employees have been celebrated, it’s the perfect time to talk about a couple of these programs.

The Years of Service Recognition Program is designed to applaud the commitment and hard work of team members who have dedicated significant portions of their professional lives to the company. Whether it’s a five-year milestone or a remarkable three decades (or more!) of service, Jay’s takes the time to celebrate each employee’s journey, recognizing their contributions and loyalty. When employees reach a 5-year milestone with the company, they are presented with a cheque and a diamond-studded pin – one diamond for each of the 5 years.

Safety is a top priority at Jay’s, especially for those team members who hit the road day in and day out. We are proud of the 167 Jay’s drivers who qualified for Safe Driving Awards this past year. We would be amiss to not recognize our driver, Richard Lanz, who is celebrating 25 years of Safe Driving! Congratulations, Richard, this is no small feat!

Employees who consistently demonstrate exceptional diligence in maintaining safe driving practices are recognized and rewarded, as part of our commitment to promoting a culture of safety. Jay’s believes that acknowledging safe driving not only enhances safety out on the road and in the workplace, but also reinforces a sense of responsibility and pride within the organization.

Speaking of celebrations, we would be remiss to not take this opportunity to applaud members of our moving team for their outstanding achievements within the Atlas organization. Congratulations to Will Dunster, Amanda Kautzman, and Lorraine Carmody for their 2023 Atlas Quality Awards. Atlas Sales Awards were presented to Bruce Pongracz, Amanda Kautzman, and Lorraine Carmody. Hats off to each of you; we are proud of your hard work and enthusiasm!
